Charles “Chico” LeClaire, Executive Managing Director Investments, and Adam Schlosser, Senior Vice President Investments, in Marcus & Millichap’s Denver, Colorado office, along with Dave Knobler, Senior Vice President Investments, in the firm’s Houston, Texas office had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the Seller, a private individual. “The Seller has owned the facility for over 20 years and saw an opportunity to make an excellent profit by selling in an aggressive seller’s market,” says LeClaire. “The Buyer got a very well-maintained facility in an excellent location with high visibility in the fast-growing Dallas market. The transaction was a good fit for both the Buyer and Seller.” The Buyer was an institutional self-storage investor out of Orlando, Florida.

American Harbor Self Storage consists of 660 units spread across fifteen single story self-storage buildings including a leasing office and managers apartment as well as seventeen modular units. The construction features concrete exteriors with metal roll up doors and standing seam metal roofs. There are wide concrete drive aisles across the entity of the site and excellent elevated signage on the side of the leasing office.
