DENVER, CO | The LeClaire-Schlosser Group of Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, today announced the sale of US Storage Centers Portfolio, a seven property self-storage portfolio with locations in Texas, Tennessee, Florida and Arizona. The assets include 4,886 units across 585,165 net rentable square feet.
Adam Schlosser, Senior Managing Director Investments, and Charles “Chico” LeClaire, Executive Managing Director Investments, in Marcus & Millichap’s Denver, Colorado office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller. “Buyer appetite for well-located cash flowing assets continues to remain strong despite the various headwinds in the capital markets today,” said Schlosser. “We were able to create a competitive bidding environment for the portfolio resulting in a favorable outcome for the seller as well as the buyer.” The buyer, Strategic Storage Growth Trust III, Inc., a private real estate investment trust sponsored by an affiliate of SmartStop Self Storage REIT, was also secured by Adam Schlosser and Charles “Chico” LeClaire. Tim Speck, Jody McKibben, Ryan Nee, and Ryan Sarbinoff, all also with the firm, assisted during the transaction.

The US Storage Portfolio has locations at 8110 South Cockrell Hill Road in Dallas, Texas; 7905 Spencer Highway in Pasadena, Texas; 3701 FM 2181 in Corinth, Texas; 1323 NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro, Tennessee; 460 Florida Central Parkway in Longwood, Florida; 6707 Narcoossee Road in Orlando, Florida; and 4860 North 83rd Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona.
